Front End Developer (Websites & Landings) - Remote

We use performance marketing, media, and machine learning to drive measurable growth across a portfolio of in-house and affiliate brands, including our flagship brand in the health and wellness space, Vital Nutritive.

We're looking for a Front End Developer to support the creation, maintenance, and optimization of websites, landing pages, funnels, quizzes, comparison sites, interstitials, and other web assets across our portfolio of brands and projects.

This role is primarily focused on website layout, landing page creation and adaptation using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. We are looking for someone who enjoys transforming ideas and business requirements into fast, responsive, and user-friendly web experiences, while maintaining a high standard of quality and attention to detail

How you'll contribute

In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing and eCommerce teams, as well as company leadership, to build and maintain a variety of web assets across our portfolio of brands and projects.

Website & Landing Page Development

  • Create, adapt, and maintain landing pages, funnels, quizzes, comparison pages, interstitials, and other web assets
  • Build responsive websites and page layouts using HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and Flexbox
  • Transform ideas, mockups, and business requirements into fully functional web experiences
  • Develop lightweight pages with a strong focus on responsiveness, usability, and speed of development
  • Support the maintenance and evolution of existing websites and web properties
  • Assist with front-end implementation and page layout updates within Shopify when needed

Front-End Development & Quality

  • Develop clean, maintainable, and scalable front-end code
  • Ensure compatibility across browsers, operating systems, and devices
  • Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve front-end issues
  • Manage and maintain code repositories using Git and GitHub

User Experience & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute ideas to improve usability, ergonomics, and overall website experience
  • Collaborate with designers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality web experiences
  • Stay up to date with front-end development best practices, tools, and technologies

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Marketing, eCommerce, and company leadership to understand business needs and translate them into effective web solutions
  • Collaborate proactively throughout projects, providing visibility on progress, priorities, and potential roadblocks
  • Take ownership of projects from implementation through delivery, ensuring high-quality execution and follow-through
  • Balance speed of execution with attention to detail, ensuring projects are delivered efficiently without compromising quality
  • Contribute ideas and recommendations to improve web assets, workflows, and development processes

User Experience & Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute ideas to improve usability, user experience, workflows, and the overall quality of web assets, while staying up to date with front-end development best practices and tools

Minimum requirements

What you'll need to succeed in this role

  • 2+ years of experience as a Front End Developer, Web Developer, or similar role
  • Strong experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, and responsive web development
  • Experience with Git and GitHub
  • Experience working with jQuery
  • Ability to translate ideas and business requirements into functional web pages
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (C1+ or equivalent)

Nice to have

  • Experience with WordPress
  • Familiarity with Shopify page layouts and front-end implementations
  • Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, LAMP, or LEMP environments
  • Experience with SASS or LESS
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Experience using AI-powered coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar solutions
