We are now hiring a Junior Finance Specialist to support the day-to-day financial operations of the company.

This role is ideal for an early-career finance professional with previous experience in accounting or finance operations who wants to continue developing their skills in billing, reconciliations, tax support, and financial administration within a fast-paced eCommerce environment.

You will work closely with the Finance team and external advisors, supporting core finance processes while gaining exposure to different areas of accounting and financial operations.

How you will contribute

In this role, you will support core finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, organization, and compliance across billing, reconciliations, reporting, and financial administration processes.

Billing & Financial Operations

  • Prepare and issue invoices following internal procedures
  • Record invoices and financial transactions in the ERP system
  • Monitor outstanding receivables and support payment follow-ups when needed
  • Support banking operations and financial transaction reconciliations
  • Organize and reconcile supplier and client invoices, including currency conversions when required

Reconciliations & Accounting Support

  • Perform reconciliations of bank accounts, suppliers, clients, and balance sheet accounts
  • Investigate discrepancies and support corrective actions when needed
  • Assist with journal entries, accounting adjustments, and closing activities
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes and internal reporting
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounting records and supporting documentation

Tax Support & Compliance

  • Support tax and compliance processes by gathering and organizing required documentation
  • Assist with tax-related tasks under the supervision of senior team members and external advisors
  • Ensure compliance with Spanish accounting and tax regulations, including SII processes
  • Follow internal control procedures to ensure financial data accuracy and reliability

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Use ERP systems, spreadsheets, and financial tools to manage and verify financial data
  • Support recurring finance operations and process documentation
  • Suggest improvements to increase efficiency and reduce operational errors

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial and operational information
  • Support communication with external advisors, auditors, and tax consultants
  • Communicate proactively with the Finance team to manage priorities and deadlines

KPIs

  • Accuracy of reconciliations and financial records
  • Timeliness of billing and accounting processes
  • Timeliness and accuracy of month-end closing support
  • ERP data accuracy and organization
  • Quality and timeliness of task execution


Minimum requirements

What you will need to succeed in this role


  • Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • +1 years of experience in finance, accounting, audit, or administrative finance roles required
  • Knowledge of Spanish accounting and tax regulations is required, including familiarity with SII processes
  • Strong Excel skills required
  • Previous experience working with Business Central and/or QuickBooks is highly valued
  • Interest in accounting, taxation, and financial operations
  • High level of accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset and willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with accuracy
  • English level: B2 or higher required
